Deputy Minister in KwaZulu-Natal, 10 December 2018

THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF JUSTICE AND CONSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT, THE HON JH JEFFERY, WILL –

(1)       HOST A JUSTICE SERVICES IMBIZO IN HOWICK, KZN and
(2)       ATTEND COMMEMORATION OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY, UKZN

The Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, John Jeffery, will on Monday, 10 December 2018, host an Imbizo with the community of Howick to address issues raised by the community pertaining to gender-based violence, as well as other service delivery issues.

The Deputy Minister previously visited the community of Howick and undertook to report back on a number of issues. The Imbizo will also be attended by relevant stakeholders within the Justice Crime Prevention Strategy (JCPS) Cluster such as the SAPS, the NPA and Legal Aid SA.

Thereafter the Deputy Minister will attend an event at Howard College, UKZN in commemoration of International Human Rights Day.
